Rocket League Season Concludes – Super Cup Recap

The Rocket League season has officially come to an end with the Super Cup, marking the final chapter of this year’s competitive journey. Spirit Esports entered the LAN finals as the bronze medalist of the autumn season, earning a well-deserved spot at the event hosted in the Infinity Esport Bar. The offline environment once again brought a fantastic atmosphere and an opportunity to connect with the community face-to-face.

Opening Match Against Honvéd

Our team started the day against Honvéd in a best-of-seven series. We faced a significantly stronger opponent on paper, and despite our best efforts, Honvéd showcased dominant form and secured a 4-0 victory. While the scoreline might suggest a one-sided matchup, our players fought hard throughout and gained valuable experience.

A Close Battle With BEE

In the lower bracket semifinal, we faced BEE in what quickly became a thrilling and highly contested BO7 series. We opened strong, taking a 2-0 lead with confident and well-executed gameplay. However, BEE regained momentum, found their rhythm, and managed to turn the series around. They won 4-2, narrowly edging us out of the bronze medal.

A Season Full of Growth and Achievement

Although we missed out on a podium finish at the Super Cup, we are incredibly proud of our players and the team’s overall performance throughout the season. We saw significant improvement, strong consistency, and countless memorable moments. Spirit Esports remains firmly among Hungary’s top Rocket League teams.
